What people actually use it for
You are burning PPC on a launch
Watch the terms you are bidding on and see the day organic rank finally follows the spend — or the day it stalls and the budget stops buying you anything.
Organic rank for “collagen powder” is below 10
A bestseller slips overnight
A competitor coupon or a suppressed image can push you off page one by morning. You hear about it on the next check, not in Friday’s report — and the bid can go up before you have replied.
Organic rank drops past 10 → raise the bid, capped
Someone undercuts you
Track a rival ASIN exactly like your own. Their price cut is usually the reason your conversion fell, and that is worth knowing the same day rather than the same quarter.
Their price drops more than 10%
Twenty clients, one inbox
Put each client’s account manager on that client’s trackers. They get the WhatsApp about their account, and nobody else gets the noise.
Rating falls below 4.3 → WhatsApp the account manager
Alerts fire on rank, price and rating. Every check also shows the product image, best-seller rank, review count, buy-box seller and stock.
Check it once, then let it tell you
A check reads page one and the listing itself. Everything it returns is something you can put an alert on — pick the line that matters and you never look again until it moves.

This is today’s snapshot — set an alert and the history builds from here, on your schedule.
Example of the alert setup form: alert me when Organic rank falls below position… 10, measured as Latest check, checked daily at 9:00 AM, up to 4 times a day · your local time. Alerts go to email and WhatsApp — you can change recipients anytime.
Ads are counted in what you see but not in organic rank — here the product is ninth on the page and sixth organically. That is the number your alert is measured against, so it is worth having something else count it.
Why this one
It reaches you on WhatsApp
An email about a rank drop competes with everything else in the inbox. A WhatsApp message gets read.
It can act, not just report
SellerMate is an ads platform underneath, so a rank drop can raise the bid on that keyword — inside a ceiling you set.
One watchlist, not three tools
Rank, price and rating on the same schedule, in the same alert.
Set one alert. That is the whole job.
Pick the keywords that move revenue
The terms that drive your orders, usually ten or fewer per product.
Set the line that matters
“Below #10.” “Price drops 10%.” One condition, checked on your schedule.
Choose where it reaches you
WhatsApp, email, or both — and who on your team gets it.
Decide what happens next
Approve the bid change from the alert, or let it run inside your cap.
Against the usual trackers
| What you need | SellerMate | Typical trackers |
|---|---|---|
| Alerts on WhatsApp | Yes, plus email | |
| Changes the bid when rank drops | Built in, capped, approve-first | In Helium 10 this means Helium 10 Ads — Diamond tier, plus a fee on ad spend |
| Rank, price and rating together | One tracker | Usually separate tools |
| Research suite and browser extension | Not our focus | Helium 10 is the broader product |

Amazon rank tracker FAQ
Yes. You can check where an ASIN ranks for a keyword without an account and without a card. A free account adds saved trackers and scheduled alerts; connecting an Amazon account removes the check limit.
Checks run on the schedule you set — daily, weekly or monthly, at up to four hours a day between 7am and 9pm in your timezone. So an alert reaches you within hours of the check that catches it, not days later when the sales report lands. We deliberately do not run overnight checks: an alert at 3am is one you act on at 9am anyway.
Yes, and you can use email too. WhatsApp recipients are people in your workspace, so an agency can put the account manager for a client on that client’s trackers and nobody else gets the noise. It is the reason most teams act on these alerts the same day.
Organic rank, sponsored rank, dropping off page one, price (including a percentage drop) and star rating, each with a threshold you choose. A check also shows best-seller rank, review count, stock and the buy-box seller, though alert conditions currently cover rank, price and rating.
Because SellerMate is an ads platform underneath, a rank rule can raise the bid on the affected keyword automatically — within a maximum bid you set, with a 72-hour cooldown so it cannot act repeatedly, and set to ask you first unless you turn that off. It changes bids only: it will not change budgets, pause campaigns or edit listings.
Organic rank is your position among the unpaid results, earned through relevance and sales history. Sponsored rank is where your ad appears for the same search, bought through bids. They move independently — you can hold a strong ad position while your organic rank slides, which is exactly the situation worth catching early.
Each check reads the live results page for the marketplace you select, and excludes sponsored placements when counting organic position — which is why a tracker often reports a better number than the one you counted by eye. Amazon personalises results and reshuffles them through the day, so treat a single reading as a snapshot; the trend across checks is the reliable signal. Recent snapshots are reused for a short window rather than re-fetched on every request.
Not to check rank or to set up alerts — those work on public search results alone. Connecting an Amazon Ads account is what unlocks unlimited checks and lets a tracker act on a drop by adjusting the bid.
Do not find out from your sales report.
Check where you rank now, then set one alert.
